About Spark Clean Energy Fellows: The 2016 Spark Fellow cohort is a group of motivated, passionate and inspiring students whose impact will extend into 2017. As the fellowship officially comes to an end, some will continue to work on the projects they began with Spark while others are focusing on advancing cleantech in other ways.

Praneet Arshi Singh is a graduate student at Purdue University conducting projects involving life cycle analysis, energy economics, and solar technology. He is particularly passionate about assessing today's energy problems holistically and finding solutions that address the full life cycle of the issue. Victoria Cheng is a Civil and Environmental Engineering PhD student in the Energy, Civil Infrastructure, and Climate program at the University of California, Berkeley. Victoria is interested in researching distributed renewables and microgrids for developing economies as well as grid-scale renewable integration and improved energy efficiency in the United States.
Saad Qasim is a Fulbright Scholar, pursuing his Master's in Energy Systems from Northeastern University where he is also Vice President of the Energy Systems Society. With a background in leadership and energy consulting, Saad hosted many successful Spark events in his community.
