Rachana Vidhi Conquers the World
Dr. Rachana Vidhi attended SISE in 2013 and has been making (solar) waves since. While she worked towards her Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering at the University of South Florida, she founded the USF chapter of the International Solar Energy Society (ISES) and served as its first president.
Her dedication to solar energy has paid off. Rachana will join noted experts from around the world as a member of the ISES Board of Directors to advance the ISES mission and work for a more integrated use of solar energy here and abroad.
Rachana is pursuing a Masters in Management at Harvard University. She is also Senior Engineer at NextEra Energy, where she leads the design and construction of energy storage projects at solar photovoltaic and wind sites. She's the lead energy storage engineer for the first solar and storage project in the continental US. She has three patents pending at the USPTO to improve the design and operation of storage and renewable generation projects.
One of the #bestnerdsonearth, for sure.

Rachana at SISE 2013 - we miss these ladies!
Rachana receives the 2014 John and Barbara Yellott Award from the American Solar Energy Society (ASES).
